very pretty. with newer higher beds, it could be 3 inches taller. The pillows hide the bottom shelf of headboard. easy to put together with help to put it in place. heavy enough to not have to attach to bed frame. the color is exactly what shows on computer screen. good purchase.

Other than some minor flaws in the finishing that cause corners to chip easily (and I expected as much since I was purchasing cheap furniture because I am on a budget), I would like this product very much since it serves its purpose well of giving me extra storage in a room where I needed to efficiently use not a lot of space. However, I am very, very disappointed by a major design flaw in this headboard when using it with the Prepac Monterey Cherry Double Platform Storage Bed (6-drawers). The products are sold to be used together, but they are not perfectly compatible. The drawers on the bed closest to the headboard CANNOT OPEN if you have the bed against the headboard because the edge of the headboard comes out too far and blocks the edge of the drawer. SO frustrating and disappointing.

This was a great value for the money. It is very attractive and looks great in the guest bedroom. The only negative is that it does take two to put it together and does take longer than the 61 minutes that the instructions say is needed.
