I picked out the Acer 19" widescreen monitor as a birthday gift for myself with my wife and three sons all going in together to pay for it. My old 15" monitor had served me well through the years, but I couldn't believe the dramatic difference in picture clarity. Next to my electric blanket, this has become a prized possession. I am very pleased with this product.

We were in an emergency situation after an older monitor died suddenly, and since that never happens at the best time financially speaking we were looking for the best monitor we could afford at the time. It's not the the largest or fanciest monitor on the shelf but it does the job and the price was right. Can't ask for more than that.

The anti-glare screen is a plus, and we didn't have any problems with the back and forth adjustment as reported in another review I read, as it moved easily. I guess the real test of the value will be in how long it lasts, but as long as it has a reasonable life to it I would buy another one.
